The Perks of Owning a Successful Blog

There are many reasons to try and grow a successful blog, but there is one that not many people mention, in fact, I didn’t even know it existed until yesterday….

Free socks 

That’s right, a reader of DeanHunt.com gave me a pair of free socks and a t-shirt yesterday.

Actually, the backstory is that I missed my flight yesterday from UK to Spain, and thus didn’t have enough clean clothes, so they were very much appreciated.

On a serious note though, this whole online, digital world we call the Internet is great, but meeting face to face every now and then is not only useful, but fun as well.

So thanks to Mathew, it was great meeting you buddy, and if anyone else wants to meet up with me, send a pair of socks to my house and we can go from there ;-)

Dean - back in sunny Spain.

    You’d been begging me for socks all weekend so in the end I just had to give in.

    What I still don’t understand is why you didn’t take those nice underpants I offered too. They weren’t *that* dirty…

    Seriously though, Dean, it was great to meet you and talk to the man behind the buzz. Just bring some clothes with you next time.

    I actually had more clean clothes, but I didn’t realise it was gonna be so warm in old blighty, so they were jumper based clothes, so no way I could have worn them without dying.

    I did run out of socks though.
