REVEALED – The Million Dollar Answer

In my last post I asked you to try and come up with the million dollar question that would blow away any Internet scammer.

So am I going to reveal that question today? Am I also going to give my opinion on the answer? Do you know what?…. I may just do both.

I stirred the bees nest by saying that unless 10 people contacted me with their guess, I would not reveal the question…. EVER.

*So did I receive 10 emails?*

No, I did not….. I received 28!

Just to summarise:

This is the question that will enable you to decide what is a good opportunity and what is not. Armed with this question you will be able to swat away those pesky, slimy Internet sales people, you will be able to instantly find the valuable information from forums…. to summarise: you will become 100% SCAM PROOF!

*So from the 28 emails did anyone get the answer correct?*

YES. One clever reader got it absolutely spot on. There were a lot of valid responses as well, and a few that were just plain crazy.

So without further ado, here is an email I received from a reader called Elijah, his explination was spot on, so I will use his email word for word:

Anyways, here would be my version of the “million dollar question” to ask these people who say the things like “Make millions whilst you sleep”, or “Requires zero effort”. (As you so accurately pointed out.)

If it’s so easy to start, effortless to maintain, and insanely profitable, why aren’t you doing it constantly instead of trying to sell me a book about it?

Maybe the answer to making money is to try and sell people information about making money. A lot of vague hooplah, of course, because it would just mean competition if they caught on to the truth…

Armed with this question you will be able to swat away the bad opportunities, and avoid the scams. You will also be able to tell who is scamming and who really has good information.

I have asked this killer question to numerous forum members and sales gurus, and I am yet to hear a good answer. Often, you will get a reply like “It feels good to be able to share my knowledge”, “I have made enough money already, I don’t need anymore”.

So let me tell you the truth, as someone who speaks to these sorts of people on a regular basis.

There is information, tips and advice that can help you make a shed load of cash, but that information is NEVER shared. In fact, the people who know that information would pay huge amounts of money to ensure that nobody else finds out about it.

I am personally working on a project at the moment, I don’t know if I will ever complete it to the standard I am looking for, but if I do, I guaratee you 100% that I will guard it with my life. Even at $50,000 per person in a huge seminar, I wouldn’t tell you.

Sorry if that sounds rude, but it is the truth.

This post is going to rattle the feathers of every major marketing guru, ad company, seminar pro, book and ebook seller on the planet.

This is the information they hide from the public. They know that if the general public have this million dollar question, they are never going to pay $3000 for a seminar or $99 for an ebook.

But you may be thinking… Dean, does this mean that every ebook seminar and self help book on the planet is worthless?

No, that is not what I am trying to say.

This question is aimed at any offer that says something like “requires zero effort”, “will make you millions whilst you sleep”, “is a secret that nobody else knows”, etc…..

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is. This question will help you answer that.

When a product or piece of information is of a certain quality it becomes a guarded secret, they wouldn’t sell it at any price. But once that information is starting to become outdated or less effective, they sell it and tell you it is a new and exciting product.

As someone who has written ebooks, reviews and seminars for some of the Internet’s leading experts on site buying and selling, social media, and SEO, I have had an inside view on how these things work. (You didn’t really think they wrote all of their own material did you?)

So in summary, you can learn a lot from seminars, ebooks, books, etc… but all the really juicy information will only be sold to you once it is becoming dated.
