One for the Geeks

****UPDATE**** A big thanks to Ben from bpsdesigns for showing me how to fix this. If anyone is interested? (unlikey), I will post the solution later.

Hi guys, girls and geeks.

I am going to be updating you on the LIVE buzz marketing case study later. But I have a quick question for all the geeks:

How do I stop my images doing this : (FIXED NOW)

I have lots of alignment options, but they don’t seem to make any difference.

What I want to do is have some text,

then a gap like this

then a photo goes here

then a gap

then more text.

Most blog themes achieve this as standard, but for some reason mine tried to fit the image and the text in the same area.

I am sure it is an easy fix, so any help would be appreciated.

    Post a picture, save the content.
    Whip out a nailgun, nail the picture in place.
    Write some more content.
    Should be ok.

    I take no responsibility over any damage to your blog.

    I would guess you would do it using either break tags or paragraph tags:

    Using line break tags:

    bla bla bla text bla bla

    Insert the url for your pic here

    bla bla bla Dean rocks text bla bla

    Using paragraph tags:
    bla bla bla… your text bla bla
    insert your url herebla bla bla Dean goes on and on.
    next image url here

    ad nauseum ad infinitum

    OK, so it actually applied my tags instead of showing them… duh. Let me try this again, omit the space after the opening bracket and just before the closing bracket:

    Use line break tags like so:

    bla bla bla text bla bla

    Insert the url for your pic here

    bla bla bla Dean rocks text bla bla

    Insert the url for your pic here
    and so on… hope this works this time.. lol

    Oy… it keeps reading my tags and applying them… sorry Dean. The tag I am actually trying to show you there is the line break tag, and I am putting in the gaps. It’s “”

    bla bla bla text bla bla
    {insert tag here}
    {insert tag here}
    Insert the url for your pic here
    {insert tag here}
    {insert tag here}
    bla bla bla Dean rocks text bla bla
    {insert tag here}
    {insert tag here}
    Insert the url for your pic here
    and so on… hope this works this time… those bunnies are driving me to distraction!
