"Un millon" = One Million = 1,000,000 "Un billón" = One Million millions = a thousand billions = a trillion = 1,000,000,000,000 Think it like: a thousand thousands is a million, so a million millions is a billion... and I guess it goes like that for trillions and so on (in spanish).
