Logo and Intercom (Not 56k friendly)

It has been an interesting week. You may recall that in my previous post I introduced you to a guy called Geriatric1927 from Youtube.com – He has now become hugely famous all over the world and has been mentioned in all the major newspapers and web sites including: Washington Post, Aol, Daily Mail, Yahoo, Reuters, NBC, GMTV, BBC, Channel 4 news and a LOT more.

But don’t forget that you heard about it first at Deanhunt.com

Anyway, back on track…… this morning I was messing with a software package called Xara3D6 which helps you design logos for your company/web site. I am terrible with these sorts of things, but I just had a little play and here is the fruit of my labour:

DeanHunt

It looks a lot better when it is not saved in crappy quality, but it is my first every attempt so go easy on me.

Intercom

Have you ever had a friend or family member show you photos that seemed interesing to them but completely boring to you?

You probably know what I am talking about. They are photos that everyone except the person who took the photo will find completely boring.

One example of this was when my grandad went on holiday about 5 years ago. He returned and we were shown his photos. He had taken five photos of the plug socket in his hotel room.

There was nothing interesting or unique about this plug socket, it was just a standard plug socket, and to this day we have no idea why he took these photos.

Yesterday myself and the missus took a photo that fits into the same bracket as above. We were at our house and we took a photo that is really interesting to us, but to the rest of the world it is probably the most boring photo ever.

So here is the amazing photo……..

Wait for it…………..

intercom

The above is of course the intercom unit on the front of our new house. Today the builders are doing the tiles in the kitchen and we are all very excited. Should be in the house by December, so if you are in Madrid next year then let me know and I will get the BBQ ready ;)

Adios
