Thom,

Yes, I certainly have an advantage, but I would say that for such niche based keywords, it doesn't take much more than a blog and pr3+ to get the rankings.

Joanne, I didn't put any call to action in place, but I can tell you that the traffic was excellent in quality and quantity, and next time I will collect the leads for sure.

Frankly, it seems fantastic strategy for traffic boosting.

Although, it’s a matter of tweaking and tracking as at the end of the day the thing that matters most is how much traffic could be converted.

Dean --
If a bomb goes off in the forest and nobody runs into your shelter, should you drop another one?

What I'm asking is -- can you tell us what happened with all that traffic, Dean? Did real prospects shake out of the traffic and convert to subscribers or new clents?

Do please tell us if your strategy led to a fun night at the pubs - - - oh and not too much detail, mind you.

Cheers -- Joanne

I put up a couple of quick posts of local flavor after reading Dean's post earlier today. Lo and behold, sometime in the past 7 hours Googlebot stopped by and put them high up in the index. Ho-hum to a problogger, but a Cloud 9 high for yours truly.
