Join My Twitter Experiment

It seems that every man and his dog is using Twitter, so I am doing an experiment to see if it is worthy of the hype. Over the next month I will be updating my Twitter account regularly, publishing a daily summary of my updates, and monitoring stats and the amount of people following me.

Here is your chance to join the experiment:

Step 1:

Join My Twitter

Step 2:

Monitor my daily updates

Step 3:

Check back here daily for a Twitter round-up of the day’s updates

Step 4:

Await my traffic stats at the end of the experiment to see if it was worth the hassle

Step 5:

Send me nude photos of yourself (just joking)

Looking forward to your Twitter results, Dean.
By the way, if you don’t take down that picture of me, I will call the police ;-)

I have made some good contacts on twitter, almost got a design job for my daughter through twitter, she was involved in finals and didn’t have time to enter her design in http://www.99designs.com for an affiliate marketer.

Because I made a comment about “Throwing in the towel and just saying screw it to this whole internet marketing stuff”. There was a follower that encouraged me and gave me a chance to give it a try once more, by offering me a chance to organize a group at their upcoming summit. So Twitter has been good, I think it is the only place you can say how you feel at the moment, someone that matters or cares may respond, and something may come out of it that never would have otherwise. Twitter is cool.

I like how Seth Godin uses it. He pastes in the first sentence of his latest blog entry, then a link.
    He gets my visit…

…but Seth Godin doesn’t actually use it…I was under the impression it was someone else (no relation to him).

I just started using it a day or so ago Dean, so let’s see how this goes!
