I am Whoring Myself for Charity

My name is Dean Hunt and I am an Internet Whore.

Over the coming months I am going to be whoring myself on the net with the aim of raising money for charity.

Here is how this started: I was reading this list of the top 150 Internet Marketing blogs, and I thought to myself… “Wouldn’t it be cool to guest blog at a few of those sites”.
Then the adrenaline kicked in, and I bumped up my challenge to “How many of the 150 could I guest blog at?”

My goal by Christmas 2007 is to have guest blogged on as many of the 150 as possible.

NOTE: IF I MANAGE TO GET 145 OR HIGHER, I WILL PERSONALLY GIVE $1,000 TO THE NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR COLITIS AND CROHN’S DISEASE. MY MOTHER HAS HAD CHRON’S DISEASE MOST OF HER LIFE, SO IT IS THE LEAST I CAN DO.

But those 150 blogs have worked hard to earn that rank, are you not just stealing their thunder? = Actually, using the factors from the top 150 chart, DeanHunt.com should be in there. So go figure!

Charity hey? Smells fishy to me = To be honest, the charity element is what is going to give me the motivation to try and do this.

I have been offered up to $1000 just to write one piece of content in the past, so surely offering my services to these blogs for FREE should be a winner. But many of these sites have bloggers who are in the “A-List”, and often they don’t allow other people to post on their site.

It is certainly going to be a tough challenge, but I am more than ready for the task ahead.

Your tips and advice would be greatly appreciated. How do I convince these people to give me a chance?
