If you say the other end of the rope isnt tied to anything and thats how he walked over *Clever* BUT now solve the puzzle taking into consideration that the other end of the rope is tied to a stake in the ground which cannot be moved. (ignore the fact that tying the rope to the horse and the stake takes up distance) . . . . . . . . . - { - - 15ft - - - } - { - 10ft - } Horse - - - - - - - - Stake - - - - Hey the horse would simply have to walk over towards the hey passed the stake. He'd even have 5 ft to spare! I Didn't come up w/ it of course but its a favorite.
