Freelancer Required – Working With the Buzz Rockstars

Barry and I have reached the point where we are looking for some assistance in our day-to-day operations.

We are confident we could outsource this via a site like elance, but we thought that it would be a nice idea to open it up to the DeanHunt.com crowd first.

Here is what we are looking for:

Required skills:

* The ability to proof and edit written content to a high standard. This may involve some re-writing. Basically, if you have ever written a blog post, or are proficient in this area, then you will be ideal.
* A good level of coding/development skills. This may be basic HTML, to tweaking Wordpress, to installing a PHP Script. If you are one of those people who is good in those areas, or, can generally learn them quickly, then perfect.
* The ability to get things done. We can’t stress how important this is, some people get stuff done, others have other skills, I personally am huge on the vision, the marketing and the ideas, but not so great at implementation, hence the need for someone. If you prefer talking about things as opposed to doing things, please don’t respond to this.

Bonus skills:

(these are not required, but would be nice)

* Graphical skills, e.g photoshop.
* Video editing basic skills (Mac or PC)
* Have some understanding of the marketing or make money online industry. (e.g you read blogs like this one regularly, perhaps have bought IM products etc.)
* Own your own web business, or have owned a website at some point

Payment:

We are happy to discuss payment with you. That said, bear in mind that we can outsource these tasks at a very low rate to other countries, so whilst the payment will be fair, it isn’t going to break the bank.

Also, we are looking to do a 30 day trial, and if that goes well, we will continue on a one month rolling agreement. This will be treated as freelance work. Ideally we are looking for someone on a min of 6 months basis.
