Hi All! Just caught up with this blog. I couldn't agree more - though we all need to be reminded (and to remind ourselves). I've always told my kids that it's just as important to learn what they DON'T want to do as it is to learn what they DO want: a week or a month spent on work experience when you're younger doing something you hate is an important learning curve! Find what makes you want to jump out of bed in a morning and you're on the right track.

good to hear again that I don’t need to spread myself so thin, and need to outsource. Love to write, make new starts, make my friends laugh, talk with people.

well damn, after watching the video and reading the comments above this has put my need to properly outsource into overdrive.

I thought that it would be good to learn how everything in the IM process works first and learn the inside outs before outsourcing, now I finally realize SCREW THAT!

eg. In Tony Robbins recent ‘money masters’ business he created, he didn’t learn html or how to program a shopping cart. He hired people to do those jobs and focused on his strength which is creating content.

I believe that if you truly want to be successful in your IM career you need to look at it as a business and hire people as a necessity, not just a way to save time. That’s what made the money masters launch a success.

Now I don’t remember outsourcing actually being mentioned in the video, so if you want to ban me from leaving anymore comments in the future I understand!

Good video, guys!
Interestingly, I was just planning to make a video about how I somehow feel that some of my greatest strengths “don’t count”. I think this may be because my strengths are almost all in fields that weren’t graded or weren’t deemed very important in school and I always sucked at the important stuff like maths and chemistry.
I wonder if others have similar experiences?

This is great advice that is heard a lot in different ways but never really taken on board. I can’t believe I’ve wasted so much time not outsourcing and now I’ve found it the future is looking great.

I can finally focus on my strengths of watching Wang Wang videos eh Dean?
