You wink and flirt with offline people and every so often you get set up with someone online to have an IM chat with for 3 minutes. So much more interactive than the others with no pressure at all. Plus I've met more people in person from it. Why wouldn't people have the balls to use it? Doesn't make sense to say that, especially if you haven't tried it!
