Where is best – America or Europe?
Next week we will be in LA doing a presentation at one of the biggest marketing seminars on the planet. One of the big secrets that we will be revealing at this seminar, is that we will be doing a ‘Buzz Marketing Bootcamp’ in the very near future.
The purpose of this blog post is NOT to promote or plug it, in fact, I am not even going to share with you all of the juicy details… instead, I come bearing one question and one question only:
If we did a Buzz Marketing Bootcamp for 30 people… would you prefer it in Europe or America?

Europe.
The girls are more attractive, more intelligent and more stylish.
The food is better, is healthier and tastier.
Everything is better in Europe.
Why don’t you have it in Monaco?
I am sure you’ll be able to sell this out no matter where you have it. I imagine there would be a lot of interest in the UK, West Coast US (LA), or East Coast US (NY). I personally would find the east coast of the US most convenient.
Europe, I like the idea of Monaco! I like how everything is cheap in America because of exchange rates..

Dean, the reason I and so many others want to attend your training and absorb your information is because you pride yourself on being different. You don’t offer all the normal Internet Marketing crap that we are bombarded with.
Well, what better way to be different than to do it in Europe?
And for all the Americans, you know the European woman are really hotter, no matter what horrible pictures he puts here…

Europe would be easier to get to for me. East coast US would give a good excuse to visit my spiritual home of Boston. I’m sure you’ll get the take up wherever it’s hosted and I probably won’t be able to come anyhow so go with the majority – I look forward to reading about it
There is definitely no argument that the food is better in Europe! You guys win when it comes to hot women too. Ours are too plastic. Hell…change my vote to Europe!

This is a tough one, I am from England, my wife is American and we live in the USA.
She takes great joy in reminding me my daughter is American as she was born here, and I take great joy in trying to get her to say tomato correctly.
Have it in Vegas, isn’t that the place to get buzzed?

Since I live in America, I’ll have to vote for America… In this economy, I still couldn’t afford to go.
But what about setting it up as a video webinar? Live… so we can all experience your dazzling personality… Red-neck and Euro-trash alike!
You could also sell multiple sessions with more in attendance… But heck, that might make you too much money.

Europe definitely – I can highly recommend Amsterdam as a splendid venue for this. The Hotel Krasnolpolsky is nice and central and has conference facilities – the town caters for – quite literally -any taste in relaxation activity and the first night party can be held on the “Supper Club Cruise” supperclub.com – but above all Amsterdam is not a city which lends itself to being overly corporate, dull and non-innovative
As much as I would like to say the US, I’d go w/ Europe. American’s are too entrenched in their ways of thinking, and are reluctant to try new ideas. Europeans, thanks to the constant intermingling of cultures due to geography, are more tolerant of change. An example, consider how many Europeans are bilingual (or multilingual) compared to Americans.
Southern Italian is probably my food choice. Greek is a close 2nd. Why do you think I have a thing for ethnic women? haha

I live in the US and I vote for seeing the King of Buzz and leader of the Killer Bunnies in Amsterdam.
I vote for NY, too…Since it pretty much has all the foods of the world in a five block radius there’s something for everyone. Plus you cannot beat the people watching.

Hello, Dean – not to be anal, however the answer to your question is based on your business motivation and target goals.
If it is solely based on location, then a destination in Europe is preferred.
Not to diminish the European Market potential, however believe if you held the event in LA or San Jose, California – you would attract a strong demand and base of attendees for this class of Boot Camp.
Being a well-healed worldwide traveler (and, as mentioned – do not want to insult or diminish the EURO Market) – believe that the Event would be a “sellout” in the US. Need to be careful, with timing, because there are some BIG Names in the InfoMarketing field that are hosting key events in the States.
April & May are biggies for Seminars, Workshops & Boot Camps.

Why not stimulate the American economy and bring revenue into the states instead of displacing it elsewhere? This recession must be stopped!
Europe.
And the choice is Lisbon. It’s the closest European capital to the United States, the weather is almost always good (it has the most sunshine hours in the old continent), and it is just a couple of hours away from most other major European cities.
It is also less expensive than most other Euro capitals (hotels, restaurants, etc.) and there is a variety of sights to see (World Heritage monuments, world-class museums, and beaches and fairytale palaces nearby).
Really, there is no better choice!

By a country mile, Australia is the best venue. Land of Plenty mate. Everything you need, want or dream of is here. Fresh food cooked by some of the world’s finest chefs….. Some of the world’s best beaches….. Some of the world’s best beer & wine.

Excellent time checking out this fabulous island = the rest of your life.

I support for going held in Europe, ‘I am Dean Hunt’ will really there, now is the time call on you, choose place resound most, suggest in Eiffel landmark, that the tower will be the hill when the real Son of God is blessed so too Master of Buzz Master. For next Asia is a must, I urge Jakarta, how come it be, town I live where Dean meet Hunt in summit easily, then your mission accomplished, even I have other will you like most, all the rest world know, Kuta, Bali, you’ll be in Heaven.

First of all I need to ask you what exactly means a bootcamp?
I may be fauling in a mistake due to a missunderstanding… sorry my English is not yet the best…. But as you may see… I am doing my best effort with it.
Regarding the event you are talking… If you are looking only for 30 attendants, it would be any place over the world, personally I think that Las Vegas could be a great place.. of course by saying this I can be being partial since I have my offices there and that facilitates me the oppotunity to be present.
Nevertheless if the intention is to summon to the greater amount of followers …. I need to say you I am a little surprised about this post, because I think you are aware world is nowadays a small place, easier to catch in your hands only deciding it.
We are a growing community following your marketing ideas, almost like addicts…..
Why you need to delimit the circle of your followers to a space given on the Earth face?
What will happen to those who we do not have possibility of being present in one or in another place?
Do somewhat impressive (as you know to do)via Internet and I assure to you that you will have much more followers interested of all the points of the planet of which you have imagined sometimes before!

Even though I live and operate from Canada, I would go hands down with Europe. Of course it depends on which country, but usually food is a LOT better, and the cultural aspect a lot richer. My vote would go to Amsterdam, Madrid, Monaco, or somewhere in Italy.
Having travelled a lot, I had my quota of the UK. Rain and fish & chips… simply just not for me I guess !
Who cares if the women are Hotter one place or another. What about the men, where are the hottest Men at? lol.
Ya’ll can all come to my house and hang out with us yee haws here in Texas….just kidding.
I would vote for America only because it would be easier and cheaper for me to attend. If I were a Rich Woman with no family I had to worry about getting back to, I would vote for Europe….I would love to see Europe and I love the accent and charm of European men.

The answer is simple, as I would not want to miss your Buzz Marketing Bootcamp and I cannot get to any other part of the globe, it will have to be in Teramo, Italy.
Its a great City and not far from the Adriatic.

Now here’s an idea. How about you get right away from both Europe & America, & hold it in Australia? The women are just as hot (& so is the weather), the Internet access is just as good, & the food is healthier. It’ll give you a whole new dimension.

London, as it is the center of the civilized universe. But for good food, why not Paris? Easy trip by train for Americans flying into London.
The British are way behind on this kind of marketing (even behind the French in blogging) so we need you more here.
I wanted to go to Europe later this year, preferably mid-October. Therefore if you organize the camp in Switzerland it will increase my chance of attending.
Orlando Florida… Home of Disney World, and lots of other theme parks, and Disney has a lot of smaller convention and meeting spaces.
It also has an International airport, fantastic weather, and with the US dollar dropping like a rock, it should be a no brainer for Europeans to come to the US. Your Euro will go much further here.
It has to be Manchester.
Apart from the fact that American food is pants and the Americans have the market cornered on stuff like this – Europeans are just nicer people with a nicer outlook on life, (and like everyone else has said – better food, better looking women, nicer surroundings and more history.)
I know that by saying all that, I have just ruled Manchester out of the running, but I, (yeah, that’s me!!!!!), really need to come and I can’t afford to get to anywhere else, so it just has to be Manchester!
So Australia it is!
Since you offer the choice between a continent or a country. I would choose the continent. But if the choice was between Europe and North America I would probably choose North America. With the decline of the dollar it would be cheaper.

You think he can’t sell 30 places to the European market…seriously? Do you think all the Internet business people live in the US? There’s actually quite a few people that live in Europe. At least 50 or so I’m sure (I tried to count but ran out of fingers…).
Dean can price it in US Dollars if he wants and then it’s cheap as chips to the Europeans. It’s like there’s a giant sale on info products at the moment thanks to your dollar
Plus, we’re not swamped with all these seminars like you guys, which makes the market much more keen.
To what I’ve read so far, I’d prefer Europe – not that I’ll be in the seminar but because loads of people have conducted one in the US. Heck, you can do it in Madrid if you like.

Historic, big town – but smaller and less harsh than say NYC. MUCH easier to get around in.
What you Euros fail to realize is that (apart from the flight) EVERYTHING here for you is HALF OFF! Come on over and BUY US – or maybe that should be… BUY U.S.

AMERICA The Beautiful! There is no place like home to soak up learning. I have no reason to spend any money in the European economy. It seems that every time The U.S. sends money to Europe we are resented for having done so. I’ll stay home thx! Vegas sounds OK, but I want my new knowledge to come home with me, not stay in Vegas. F

I don’t know what everyone means by “Europe has the better food.” When I visited last summer in the UK and Ireland, all I was offered was vegetable soup. Oh, yeah, that was so delicious! Not. I enjoyed seeing the sites, but the food was terrible.

Okay, I’m starting to get worried…Where are you Dean Hunt? Haven’t seen you post on here in over a week. Is everything okay?
Economically, I say have it here in Houston, Texas. Haven’t visited Aussieland yet so that would be a close second.
America, because I don’t think Europe is any better.
I wont be attending, but why not have your seminar in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania….Its not NY or Lisbon, but it is very beautiful and offers a little bit of everything you can find in either of those places. Attempting to create “buzz” is all they do there not-to-mention the enormous student population with the Teppert, Katz, and Donahue business schools in the city. (for those who dont know, that’s Carnegie Mellon, University of Pittsburgh, and Duquesne University)…a great convention center, huge airport, active cultural district, beatiful buildings, multicultural food choices…why go anywhere else?

For many reasons EUROPE.
First of all there is history there which makes the place interesting and colorful America is too gray everything and everywhere is the same thing.
Second every country has a unique and beautiful culture. I have nothing against diversity but American culture is just too bazaar.
Third people. Sorry to say this but people in U.S. are stuck up and they each live in their own bubble and don’t even care about what’s going on around them. I believe that Europeans are more intelligent and mature. Also discipline, 90% of all Americans lack that.

omg, poland may be poor and have a stupid president that deserves to burn in hell, but still , in usa i feel horrible. corn syrup everywhere , guys all wear the same fashion clothes and behave the same way , females-most of them wear the ‘raccoon’ makeup, dress the same way and mostly behave like white trash.i would recomend europe , because there is a lot to see and 90% of teens know , or are learning english (they think its cool to know other languages.) people in europe , i would say are W A Y more tolerant, and you dont see teenage girls dress the same and “hunt” for boyfriends.

Well, it is simple, our economy (the Eurozone) is having results far better than the USD, it is evident, we have foreseen this crisis (the 2008 credit crunch) months before any other country which is not a member of the Eurozone did, and the mechanisms used in the Eurozone prove that they are not dumb at all, like the Americans thought when the Euro was born. Now that is one thing, secondly, and equally important, our cultures and histories are surely better then America’s. For example I live in Malta, the smallest member of the EU, and we have a 7000 year old history, with buildings older than both Stonehenge, the Egyptian Pyramids and the American pyramids. Our culture (in Malta) is also better. The Americans have been trapped in the early 90’s when Rock Music was practically at its best. WE have evolved, and today, we are as good as Ibiza ta clubbing, in Fact we are at the top ten places in the world for clubbing
. Fianlly, European Girls are surely better than Americans. Europeans don’t feed on crappy food, we are slimmer and polite, always at the forefront of fashion(ie not wearing those crappy Metal T-Shirts) and WE LOVE TECHNO! DANCE 4 LIFE! EUROPE RULES, after all, we created America, so you can Never be better lol.
BTW, the Best (an i mean the very BEST) food is in France, Italy(obviously) and Malta. Our foods nearly surpass French and is as good as Italian. We are not spoilt by BurgerKing. As an example, I like Rabbit, yes, that is my favourite, a Rabbit. XD.
WE have great hotels here, in fact the total amount of tourists that visit the island yearly is three times the population. It is very quite here, and do not worry about bad weather because we have nearly a whole year with great weather and our seas are not shark infested, in fact there aren’t any sharks here.
