DeanHunt.com Is For Sale

Those of you who know me will know that I have been going through a few changes over the past 4 or 5 months, and as a result, I am going to be leaving the Internet marketing world behind me to move on to pastures greener.

Obviously, DeanHunt.com has been a major part in my career and success, and has had over a million views since it was created, is linked to from most of the A-listers in the industry, has a pagerank 5, and ranks extremely well on Google….

It also has a large and loyal following.

So why sell it?

I am very much an all or nothing person.. and just as we have seen some of my peers delete 100k+ twitter accounts, or shut down Facebook accounts overnight, I intend to do the same.

I plan to move on, and this site will always seem like an ex-girlfriend, so I want to remove the temptation and focus 100% on my new projects.

Who Would Buy DeanHunt.com?

I appreciate that it is rare to find a domain built around a name for sale, especially such a high profile one. To some people this may seem worthless, but I also know that people who know the value of brands, SEO, authority and traffic, will know that owning this domain and using Dean Hunt as a pen name etc… could easily create a 6-figure business.

There was a time where I wouldn’t have sold this domain for all the money in the world, but I now feel it is an important step forward, and the money will help part-finance my next projects.

All I ask is that all blog posts are removed, it wouldn’t be right to keep that content online, I hope you all enjoyed reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it.

What’s Next for Me?

I have many friends, family members and “fans” who follow me through this blog, you can all still reach me through my Facebook account, where I will try and update you all on my progress and general musings.

Close friends have my email address, and family members have my number, so no problems there.

I considered creating a list of all the people who I wanted to thank who have helped me on my journey… but frankly, I stopped at 45 people, as it was spiraling out of control… those who have helped and inspired me already know who they are, and I thank you from the bottom of my heart.

So this is a tearful Dean Hunt, signing off for the very last time… who knows, one day I may return under a new name, but until then, I wish you all the very best, thanks for reading, thanks for laughing at all the bad jokes over the years, and thanks for sharing your stories of how my teachings have changed your lives.
